This data visualization gives demographic and economic data for 44 different Shreveport neighborhoods. The neighborhoods are constructed by combining 5-year American ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÖÆƬ³§ Survey block groups.  

This data visualization gives the number employed, unemployed, in the labor force, and the unemployment rate for Louisiana, it's Parishes, MSAs, Micro Areas, and cities. The data is month from 2010 to present.

This data visualization tracks initial and continued unemployment claims for Caddo, Bossier, DeSoto, and Webster Parish from March 2020 until the present day.

This data visualization examines how population has changed between 2021 and 2022 for each parish.

This visualization examines 2020 population by race & ethnicity and the change in population from 2010 to 2020 for each parish. It also shows the number of housing units and group quarter breakdown.

This visualization shows the diversity index, largest racial or ethnic group, and second largest racial or ethnic group for all census tracts in Louisiana. 

This data visualization examines how population has changed between 2020 and 2021 for each parish.

This data visualization examines how population has changed between 2010 and 2018 for each parish.

This data visualization examines how population has changed between 1980 and 2019 for each parish.

This visualization compares the parish median household income by race and ethnicity, by tenure, and by age. It also examines the percent poverty by household type and age.

COVID-19 Data Visualizations (Discontinued October 2022)

• - This visualization compares the 7-day average of new COVID-19 cases per 100k population and the 7-day average of new COVID-19 deaths per million population for the six COVID waves that hit Louisiana. 

• - This visualization tracks cumulative and new COVID-19 cases and deaths for the state of Louisiana.

• -  This visualization tracks current COVID-19 hospitalizations and number of COVID patients requiring a ventilator for the state of Louisiana. It also tracks the 14-day average of new COVID cases vs the number hospitalized. It also tracks the number of people needing a ventilator and the 7-day average of new deaths.

• - This visualization tracks the 7-day average of new COVID 19 cases per 100k population, and the 7-day average of new COVID deaths per 1 million population.
  
  
• - This visualization shows the cumulative number of COVID cases and COVID deaths for each parish. It also shows the new and the new 7-day average of both parish cases and deaths.
