At LSUS, we offer both traditional undergraduate teaching certifications with the option for additional add-on certifications specializing in English as a Second Language, Special Education and more! We also have TeachLSUS, an abbreviated pathway to a teaching certification for those who already possess an undergraduate degree.

The ��ý��Ƭ�� Teacher Education Program is accredited by the CAEP's evidence-based accreditation assures quality and supports continuous improvement to strengthen P-12 student learning.

The Pilot Education Center is a state-of-the-art learning environment for future educators at all levels. Textbook and technology resources abound in a simulated classroom environment. The Center also includes the Praxis Lab and Curriculum Resource Center.

The Teacher Education Program: Admission & Retention - or TEPAR for short - is a secondary admissions process that education majors must apply for in their sophomore year. If accepted, applicants can continue onward in the program to receive their degree in education. Read more about TEPAR here.
