Elected Committees
The following committees are populated by Saint Louis University School of Medicine full-time faculty members through election.
The Faculty Senate serves as the University-wide representative body for the faculty at 天美传媒制片厂. It provides the foundation for shared governance on matters touching the academic mission of the University as a whole. Senators serve as representatives of their constituent academic units, but also as University citizens.
Senators serve a term of three years. The general faculty elect 17 full-time faculty members from the School of Medicine.
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month.
The University Committee on Academic Rank and Tenure considers and recommends to the provost nominations for promotion and the awarding of tenure.
Members serve a term of three years. The general faculty elects one full-time faculty member from the School of Medicine. Members are ordinarily tenured professors.
The committee meets five to six times between the months of December and March.
