Strategic Direction and Initiatives
Our mission is our primary purpose or "essential intent." Rooted in the Ignatian tradition of Cura Personalis, the mission of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ÖÆƬ³§'s Division of Student Development is to enhance students' opportunities to develop as whole people — mind, body and spirit — in support of their overall success.
Strategic Direction
Our vision is expressed as what we desire for our students.
Our work is guided by the desire to provide support and scaffolding to help SLU students become contemplatives in action. We hope to inspire self aware, critically reflective, culturally fluent, caring and ethical leaders, who will make a positive difference in their communities.
Our mission and vision are achieved through four strategic focus areas, that all of our divisional partners will advance through measurable goals and objectives identified in their unit-level plans. Some explanation about how and why we identified these as areas of importance.
